What is HotConvert?
HotConvert is an online platform for converting files. We support over 200 formats: images, documents, videos and audio.
Do I need to create an account?
No, basic conversion is available without an account. Creating a free account gives you access to conversion history and higher limits.
What are HotConvert's opening hours?
Our service is available 24/7 with 99.9% guaranteed uptime. Support is available Monday to Friday.
Conversions
What formats are supported?
We support over 200 formats: JPG, PNG, WEBP, PDF, DOCX, XLSX, MP4, MP3, and many more.
What is the maximum file size?
Free: 25 MB. Pro: 100 MB. Business: 500 MB per file.
How long does a conversion take?
Most conversions take under 3 seconds. Videos may take a bit longer depending on size.
Security
Are my files secure?
Yes. All uploads are encrypted via HTTPS. Files are automatically deleted after conversion (1h free, 24h Pro).
Do you share my files with third parties?
No. Your files are never shared with third parties. We only use them for conversion.
Is HotConvert GDPR compliant?
Yes. We comply fully with the GDPR. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
Billing
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept PayPal and major cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC).
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel at any time from your account settings. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, the free plan is permanently available with 50 conversions per month.
API
Is there an API available?
Yes, the REST API is available on Pro and Business plans. See our documentation for integration guides.
How do I get an API key?
Once subscribed to a paid plan, go to your dashboard > API Keys section to generate your keys.
