About the SIX format
SIXEL — DEC SIXEL Graphics
SIXEL is a graphics format developed by DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation) for use in terminals and printers. It encodes bitmap images as a series of six-pixel-high bands transmitted as printable ASCII characters, and has seen a resurgence in modern terminal emulators.

About the MNG format
MNG — Multiple-image Network Graphics
MNG is the animated image sibling of PNG, designed to be a replacement for GIF animations. While technically superior (full color, gamma correction, more compression options), it never achieved widespread browser adoption and was largely superseded by APNG and WebP for animation.
