About the SFW format
SFW — Seattle Film Works
SFW is a proprietary image format used by Seattle Film Works (later PhotoWorks), a film processing service that offered digital images on floppy disks. These files are legacy digital scans from the 1990s when SFW was one of the first mass-market film digitization services.

About the PAM format
PAM — Portable Arbitrary Map
PAM is an extended Netpbm format that generalizes PBM/PGM/PPM to support arbitrary numbers of channels and depths. It can store RGBA (color with transparency), CMYK, or any custom multi-channel image, making it the most capable member of the Netpbm family.
