About the SFW format
SFW — Seattle Film Works
SFW is a proprietary image format used by Seattle Film Works (later PhotoWorks), a film processing service that offered digital images on floppy disks. These files are legacy digital scans from the 1990s when SFW was one of the first mass-market film digitization services.

About the JEF format
JEF — Janome Embroidery Format
JEF is the native machine embroidery format for Janome and Elna embroidery machines. Unlike DST it does store thread colour information, so a JEF file carries both the stitch path and the colour sequence the machine should follow.
