About the PIX format
PIX — Alias/Wavefront RLE Image
PIX is a simple run-length encoded image format used by Alias/Wavefront (now Autodesk) tools, including Maya and early versions of Alias Studio. It stores RLE-compressed RGB images and is encountered when working with legacy 3D rendering and animation output.

About the JEF format
JEF — Janome Embroidery Format
JEF is the native machine embroidery format for Janome and Elna embroidery machines. Unlike DST it does store thread colour information, so a JEF file carries both the stitch path and the colour sequence the machine should follow.
