About the PFM format
PFM — Portable Float Map
PFM is an extension of the Netpbm format that stores floating-point pixel values instead of integers. This makes it ideal for high dynamic range (HDR) image storage, scientific imaging, and rendering output where pixel values can exceed the 0–1 range.

SFW — Seattle Film Works
SFW is a proprietary image format used by Seattle Film Works (later PhotoWorks), a film processing service that offered digital images on floppy disks. These files are legacy digital scans from the 1990s when SFW was one of the first mass-market film digitization services.
