About the PCD format
PCD — Kodak Photo CD
PCD is Kodak's Photo CD format, used to store high-quality digitized photographs from film. Introduced in 1992, Photo CD provided multiple resolution versions of each image on a single disc, making it one of the first professional film digitization standards.

About the DST format
DST — Tajima Embroidery Format
DST is the most widely supported machine embroidery format, created by Tajima and readable by nearly every commercial embroidery machine. It stores stitch coordinates and machine commands but carries no colour information, which is why a DST file has to be paired with a colour sequence when it is stitched out.
