Common uses
- Legacy web page files from early Windows servers
- Old website archive recovery
- Windows 3.x and early IIS HTML files
- Converting older HTM files to modern HTML5
About the RAS format
RAS — Sun Rasterfile
RAS is the Sun Microsystems rasterfile format (also called SUN format), the native image format for SunOS and Solaris workstations. It was used for screenshots, icons, and application graphics on Sun hardware and is still encountered in legacy Unix archives.
Common uses
- Legacy Solaris/SunOS graphics files
- Converting old Sun workstation screenshots
- Unix workstation archive recovery
