TTF — TrueType Font
TrueType is one of the most widely used font formats, developed jointly by Apple and Microsoft in the late 1980s as a competitor to PostScript Type 1. TrueType fonts use quadratic Bézier curves for glyph outlines and include hinting instructions for sharp rendering at small sizes.
