MAC — MacPaint Image
MAC is the native bitmap format of MacPaint, Apple's original paint application bundled with the first Macintosh in 1984. MacPaint files are monochrome (black and white) 576×720 pixel images that represent one of the earliest consumer bitmap graphics formats in computing history.
