JEF — Janome Embroidery Format
JEF is the native machine embroidery format for Janome and Elna embroidery machines. Unlike DST it does store thread colour information, so a JEF file carries both the stitch path and the colour sequence the machine should follow.

BZ2 — Bzip2 Compressed File
BZ2 is a single-file compression format using the bzip2 algorithm (Burrows-Wheeler transform + Huffman coding). It consistently achieves 10-15% better compression ratios than gzip for text and source code, making it preferred for bandwidth-sensitive distributions. Like gzip, it compresses only a single file — directories must be bundled with TAR first.
