JNX — Garmin Tile Map Image
JNX is a proprietary raster tile map format used by Garmin GPS devices to store third-party background maps. JNX files contain georeferenced image tiles at multiple zoom levels and are used by BirdsEye satellite imagery and other Garmin-compatible map providers.

GZ — Gzip Compressed File
GZ is a single-file compression format based on the DEFLATE algorithm, standardized in RFC 1952. Unlike ZIP or TAR, gzip compresses only a single file.
