DST — Tajima Embroidery Format
DST is the most widely supported machine embroidery format, created by Tajima and readable by nearly every commercial embroidery machine. It stores stitch coordinates and machine commands but carries no colour information, which is why a DST file has to be paired with a colour sequence when it is stitched out.

RAS — Sun Rasterfile
RAS is the Sun Microsystems rasterfile format (also called SUN format), the native image format for SunOS and Solaris workstations. It was used for screenshots, icons, and application graphics on Sun hardware and is still encountered in legacy Unix archives.
